From " Put out "to focus.
When Ine Klosters took over as the new director, she found a team that was largely self-managing and constantly putting out fires. With clearer priorities, calm and focus returned.

A second measurement.
The team moved from Olympic flame to Comfortable Passion. The team saw this as a natural balance; for them, it wasn't a step backward.
Not always working at full capacity gives Space the opportunity to reflect and collaborate more effectively.
The Story of Ine Klosters
When I started as director at the Jeu de Boules Association, I found a team that was largely self-managed. That provided freedom, but it also led to a lot of ad-hoc work. Whoever called got attention. This created a situation where the team was constantly Put out putting out fires. The result was stress, unrest, and dissatisfaction. The question for me was: how do we restore focus so that people can actually do their jobs?
Insight and Confirmation
The " Teamenergy" approach provided both insight and confirmation. We saw that there was a lot of Passion within the team, but also that people needed Space to be able to focus on what really matters.
By setting clearer priorities and better protecting the team from ad hoc work, a sense of calm emerged. Team members were interrupted less often and were given clearer tasks. This, in turn, restored their confidence in their ability to do their jobs well.
Leading More Effectively as a Director
For me, as the director, * Teamenergy * provided the language and tools to identify what I see happening within the team. Whereas I used to rely mainly on intuition, I can now analyze more precisely where things are getting out of balance.
That helps me intervene in a more targeted way and better facilitate the team. As a result, the team has a clearer understanding of what is expected of them and functions more consistently.
Greater Focus and Collaboration
One key insight was just how crucial Space is—the freedom, as well as the Space , to do the work properly.
By actively guiding the team in that direction, we achieved greater focus. Team members have a clearer understanding of their roles and can concentrate on their tasks. As a result, the team works more calmly and is getting closer and closer to a true state of flow.
Balance Between Performance and Breathing
The second measurement showed that the team had evolved from “Olympic flame” to a more comfortable “ Passion.” We didn’t see this as a step backward, but as a natural balance.
Space , not always having to work at full capacity allows for reflection and better collaboration. That balance helps the team remain strong over the long term.
An Approach to Leadership and Team Discussions
Teamenergy I also use it in one-on-one conversations with employees. It helps make topics such as professional development, workload, and motivation easier to discuss in concrete terms.
For the team, this means taking a moment to consciously reflect on how we’ Collaborate. Not rushing ahead for a moment, but taking a look at how things are really going. And every team deserves that.
“I used to rely mainly on my gut feeling. With the ‘ Teamenergy ’ approach, I’m much better able to identify what’s going on in the team dynamics and what the team needs to function effectively.”
